Who do I love?

A day has passed, and the night will come
Alone, but there’s comforting contentment in this heart
He left with a soulful love and lives for it
And counts every dream unfold with tears
When love is farfetched to reach
The heart that longs for a lovely sip
Waiting becomes a bitter bliss
Here, she’s longing for his calming kiss

The night has passed and a new day will come
Alone she survived the test of time
She remained with the heart conspicuously deceived
By lies, by pains, by pride, by innate tendencies
When love has given you enough to believe
Yearning becomes a beautiful wish
Here, this love will never leave.
